Finnish Advocacy Network

Open Knowledge Finland launches an open knowledge advocacy network.

It can

  • communicate among members about upcoming requests for statements and advocacy needs
  • cooperate in preparing responses to requests for statements or drafting public statements
  • organize discussions and/or lobbying campaigns on important requests for statements or legislative initiatives
  • bring topics from international contexts into domestic debate and export shared views into international debates
  • participants can share participation requests in their own campaigns and invite members to their events

The initial group of participating organizations is first agreeing on chosen practices and welcoming new participants as soon as these discussions have taken place.
